New MovieSite Screen Agency System Launched

MovieSite 2.3 Image Reordering

MovieSite 2.3 Image ReorderingThe latest version of MovieSite for screen agencies has been launched – built entirely using feedback from our knowledgable user community.

MovieSite allows screen agencies, film commissions and film offices to better manage their location database, crew and facilities databases and track productions. Its “public-facing” elements enable self-service searching of a subset of the agencies’ information. Clients include Screen South, Kent County Council and Abu Dhabi Film Commission.

The new MovieSite includes a number of efficiency-enhancing features including drag-and-drop image recordering, new on-screen presentation of forms and performance reports. It also marks the launch of a standard location registration module improving consistency across agencies making life easier for location owners and agencies alike.

OpenBrolly supplies a similar system – TouristSite – to Destination Marketing Organisations, enabling them to track and market accommodation, activities, attractions, food, drink and shopping in their area.

iPhone App Approved

We’re delighted to announce that our iPhone application framework has been approved by Apple,

This opens the door for a range of new iPhone applications to be created for our clients, including MovieMaps, production guide / directory access on the move and applications for tourism destinations.

The application seamlessly integrates with MovieSite and TouristSite, but can display information from any database.

It is location aware – for example showing locations within a few kilometers of the phone user.
